SafetySim is an independent engineering software tool for modelling, simulating, reviewing, and documenting safety logic. It is intended for professional users with the knowledge and authority required for their work.
SafetySim does not connect to, configure, download to, or control a real safety instrumented system. It is not a certified engineering or validation environment and does not replace the checks required on the actual target system.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafetySim is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in this notice excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or wilful misconduct.
SafetySim is currently offered as a free Early Access service for professional and business use. No payment method is required and no paid subscription is available at this stage.
Users must independently confirm that each model corresponds to the actual logic, configuration, timing, diagnostics, and behaviour of the target system. SafetySim must not be the sole basis for a safety decision or operational action.
Users remain responsible for all required design reviews, verification, validation, FAT, SAT, proof testing, management of change, commissioning, and final approval on the real system using competent personnel and approved tools.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts determined by applicable procedural law, unless the parties validly agree on another dispute-resolution mechanism.

Account and contact data are processed to provide the requested service, answer enquiries, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Data are retained while needed for those purposes and, afterwards, only for applicable legal limitation periods.
SafetySim may process IP addresses, login timestamps, security events, and basic browser or device information when needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Access is limited to authorised persons and service providers acting on documented instructions. Technical data are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.
Users may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable. They may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
SafetySim uses cookies or similar browser storage where necessary to provide requested functions, maintain security, and manage authenticated sessions. Any non-essential technology will require prior consent and will be explained before it is activated.
SafetySim and its original software and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users retain their rights in the logic models and content they create. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Users may use SafetySim only for lawful professional or business purposes. They must not access accounts or systems without authorisation, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or use the platform to infringe third-party rights.
Unauthorised copying, distribution, or commercial exploitation of protected SafetySim code or content is prohibited. Nothing in these terms restricts acts that applicable law expressly permits and that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.
Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or third parties. Suspected unlawful conduct may be reported to the competent authorities where required or justified.
SafetySim is currently free and no purchases, subscriptions, renewals, or refunds apply. Early Access features may change as the product is tested and improved.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the free Early Access service. Where reasonably possible, registered users will receive advance notice of changes that materially affect access or stored content.
Any future paid service will be governed by separate subscription, cancellation, and refund terms presented before payment is accepted.
These terms may be updated prospectively as SafetySim develops. Registered users will receive reasonable notice of material changes. Changes do not affect rights or obligations that arose before they took effect, unless required by law.
